Lecture: Robert Hahn – Sleepless in the racing transporter

Lecture: Robert Hahn – Sleepless in the racing transporter
At the end of the 1960s, 24-year-old Robert Hahn from Frauenfeld immersed himself in the world of international motorsport. Without much professional experience, he looks after Swede Joakim Bonnier's Formula 1 racing car and 5-liter sports car, develops his own rear wing and handles the most delicate technical emergencies. In Safenwil, Robert Hahn tells us about this time. His memories give us deep insights into a world that otherwise remained hidden behind the glamor of the racing circus. He vividly describes the precarious working conditions, the enormous time pressure and the seemingly endless transport journeys that were necessary for the operation of this top sport. He illustrates the experiences of this time, which are difficult to imagine today, with numerous photos that have never been published before. After the presentation, enjoy a cozy aperitif.
